The HR Compliance Analyst role at Trüpp is a part-time, remote position that offers flexible hours and scheduling with approximately 10-25 hours per week. This position plays a supportive role in delivering handbook and policy services to our small to mid-sized clients located in the greater Portland area and across the U.S.—communicating and coordinating on a daily basis with Trüpp team members and clients.

Essential Job Functions
The individual in this position is responsible for our Handbook and HR Policy Services including the following work-related duties:
  • Continuously improve and update Trüpp employee handbooks and HR policy templates and create new HR policy templates as needed, including maintaining library of templates.
  • Produce customized employee handbooks and HR policies using Trüpp templates, and conduct handbook and policy reviews for clients.
  • Interface with clients to discern handbook and policy customization needs.
  • Assist HR Business Partners with preparing Handbooks and HR policies for HRO clients.
  • Track compliance changes in jurisdictions where we have clients (which is across the nation but not international), including maintain records on relevant jurisdictions for our clients.
  • Communicate with the marketing department to produce regular compliance updates and update fact sheets for relevant jurisdictions .
  • Coordinate contracting and billing related to Handbooks and policies, including interfacing with accounting and HR Outsourcing team.

  • Demonstrate qualities of a team player who is able to work independantly with minimal direction.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work 10-25 hours remotely every week.
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in employee handbook creation or an HR compliance role is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • HR certification through SHRM and/or HRCI preferred.
  • Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and preferably experience with Microsoft Styles.
  • Must be reliable in meeting exacting and highly-accurate work results and strict deadlines with the ability to work efficiently and accurately with numbers and text.
  • Must stay knowledgeable about current employment law changes.
