 What will the Production Manager do?
The individual in this position is expected to consistently fulfill the following functions:
  • Act as the primary planner, creative designer, project manager, and point of contact for assigned productions and events.
  • Conduct and effectively lead pre-production phone calls at regular intervals to support open communication with clients; work proactively to address concerns and answer questions.
  • Share client information (needs, questions, and concerns) with sales and marketing as appropriate and in a timely manner
  • Work independently and in conjunction with direct supervisor and other individuals to ensure all event needs are clearly defined and documented.  This can include, but is not limited to, creating new or revising existing documents such as diagrams, event flow sheets, production schedules, and events calendar.
  • Ensure all pre-event and post-production paperwork and administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner. 
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with contractors and stakeholders; communicate existing labor needs and forecast future labor needs. 
  • Ensure that equipment is placed, installed, tested, operated, packed, and appropriately stored pre-and post-event either by doing it oneself or delegating those tasks to others. 


 What are the position requirements?
To be successful in this position, the individual in this position must be:
  • Prepared: You have at least three to five years of work experience that involved event planning, staging, and working directly with AV equipment. You have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. In addition, you must possess a valid CDL and class B driver's license.

  • Compliance Focused:  The You follow all safety guidelines, report injuries, and share any safety concerns with the appropriate persons in a timely manner; you ensure all local, state, and federal laws and regulations are adhered to.


 What are the physical and sensory requirements?

  • Able to reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.

  • Able to maintain sustained concentration on computer screens; use keyboards and a variety of peripherals.
  • Able to identify and differentiate different colors and shades.
  • Able to be around bright lights and loud sounds for prolonged periods of time.
  • Able to communicate in English, both in writing and verbally in person and over the phone.
