YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FULFILLING THE FOLLOWING DUTIES AND TASKS:
  • Acting as the liaison between front of house and back of house, which includes but is not necessarily limited to ensuring there are open lines of communication and clear expectations.
  • Working with customers interested in catering to answer any questions, structure a menu that meets their price range, discuss the food.
  • Checking the catering order to ensure that all items are accounted for; get the order ready for pick up or deliver the order.
  • During busy times, effectively directing employees and engage in activities such as hosting, expediting food, prepping food, and filling line cook duties.  
  • Managing customer interactions to ensure consistent and excellent customer service is delivered. This includes working with staff and customers to address concerns, questions, and requests. 
  • Helping to manage the schedule, particularly when it comes to days off or scheduling changes.
  • Communicating potential catering orders (accurately taking down phone number, names, and dates) to Assistant GM and GM at the end of each shift.
  • Taking note of employee and customer concerns, troubleshooting when possible; communicate this information to Assistant GM and GM via email and/or text at the end of each shift.
 
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO:

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Ability to communicate with fellow employees and guests.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Must possess exceptional customer service, listening, speaking, and social skills.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills is preferred.
  • The ability to read, write, understand, and speak English is required.
  • The ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Must possess a valid Food Handlers’ card.
  • Frequently climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and use hands and fingers to complete work related tasks.
  • The ability to lift 35 pounds.
