Salary: $28.54 per hour

Position Summary: 

The Resident Services (RS) Program Manager leads a team of Resident Services Coordinators who link residents of NHA’s 44 statewide affordable housing communities to services and resources to enhance housing stability, expand access to opportunity, and build community. The RS Program Manager will assign work, oversee the day-to-day activities, and assess the performance of the Resident Services team. This position is responsible for the maintenance of positive relationships between resident services, asset management, and property management staff. The RS Program Manager reports to the Director of Programs and Equity and directly supervises all members of the Resident Services team.


Typical Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the implementation of the Resident Services program.
  • Form and maintain partnerships that bring additional resources to the Resident Services department.
  • Track and measure progress across all programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare performance reports for funders, the management team, and NHA’s board of directors.
  • Develop and monitor the Resident Services program budget, including individual budgets for each program. Approve purchases, expenditures, and timesheets for the Resident Services team. Work to ensure the program resources and expenditures stay within authorized levels.
  • Help identify and attract new resources to fund the Resident Services programs.
  • Supervise the team members of Resident Services. Train, support, coach, evaluate performance, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Supervise the Jesuit Volunteer, adhering to all JVC Northwest and Americorps requirements.
  • Ensure that the Resident Services Coordinators complete all paperwork and data collection in a timely manner.
  • Foster a culture of data and program evaluation among the Resident Services team.
  • Participate in equity conversations and activities while aligning the REDI Committee’s goals with the Resident Services scope of work.
  • Work in partnership with the NHA Homeless Intervention Services (HIS) department on cross-training of staff; cross-programming; and Program Department-wide programming & support.
  • Participate in agency-wide activities as a member of the Leadership Team at NHA.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and proof of insurance
  • Ability to lift 25lbs. unassisted
  • Flexibility during peak periods and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, including bimonthly board meetings and annual board retreat.


Education and Experience: 

  • Two years of experience working in supportive services, or a Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience working in supportive services


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Walking up and down stairs
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
