Trupp HR - Leave Administration Specialist (Remote/Full-Time)

The Leave Administration Specialist position at Trüpp plays a key role in administering employee leaves for our clients located throughout the U.S. This position is responsible for assessing, adjudicating, tracking, and monitoring leave of absence claims. The Leave Administration Specialist ensures leaves are continuously monitored and aligned to ensure compliance with client policies along with federal, state and local leave regulations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Act as the primary point of contact for LOA questions, concerns, and challenges for clients and their employees.
- Manage and process LOAs including, but not limited to, FMLA, state and local non-FMLA leaves, ADA, and personal leaves for employees located across the United States.
- Provide tracking and administration through the full cycle of employee leaves.
- Ensure requests are responded to in a timely manner and that leaves are managed in accordance with client policies and are in compliance with all federal, state & local leave laws.
- Assist employees in getting back to work and receiving appropriate benefits according to organizational policies and legal regulations.
- Inform client contacts of employee status to assist them in maintaining productivity and advise them on appropriate handling of employees on leave.
- Authorize return-to-work using physician documentation, departmental ability to comply with restrictions, and knowledge of the physical requirements of the existing job or alternative job.
- Utilize leave of absence tracking system to manage leaves and keep information current for client visibility.

- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
- Gain and maintain proficiency with various client HRIS systems.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Exemplify professionalism and a sincere concern for contributing to the success of our clients.

- Treat confidential information gained through employment with Trüpp with sensitivity and tact.

WHAT’S GOT YOU HERE
- One years’ work experience in HR, leave administration or related field. Previous experience in facilitating FMLA required, multi-state leave experience preferred, and knowledge of ADA interactive process.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration highly preferred.
- Requires strong proficiency in the use of a variety of software including Excel, Word, Outlook, customer service ticketing systems, and HR and leave administration systems.
- Sufficient working conditions, including high-speed internet and an environment where phone calls and virtual meetings can occur without interruption required.
