ABOUT THE POSITION 
Position Overview

This is a new position that combines business development, project management, and sales in a technical industry. The individual in this role must effectively support existing clients and proactively seek out new business in a way that is measurable and cost effective.  


Day in the Life
While not exhaustive, the information below will provide a snapshot of the types of things the person in this position will be responsible for:
  • Interface with existing clients to provide training, answer questions, and resolve concerns; work with supervisor and external individuals as needed to secure additional resources.
  • Building out processes that direct and improve the company’s ability to find and respond to relevant RFP’s/RFQ’s; work collaboratively with supervisor and Executive Management team to create, review, refine, and finalize templates.
  • Identify potential business opportunities and utilize effective processes and techniques to generate actual business via LinkedIn, phone calls, emails, and scheduled in-person meetings.  
  • Assess potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Research and present reports showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing company products or services.
