Position Overview

This position is responsible for effectively repairing and restoring a variety of equipment which entails resolving both hardware and software problems in a timely and consistent manner.

The individual in this position is expected to engage in the following work-related duties:
  • Rely on inventory data to determine which devices or equipment must be repaired first.
  • Support repair functions of device repair which includes:
    • Cleaning various pieces of equipment.
    • Organizing and cataloging equipment and parts.
    • Assessing and repair hardware / software issues under the direction of a Level Two Device Repair Technician and/or supervisor.
  • Create and/or maintain current documentation describing repair actions taken and/or related banks of knowledge.
  • Ensure that work area and shared areas are clean and tidy.
  • Proactively engage in on-going or unique training sessions as directed by supervisor.
